What is the Islamic perspective on dreams and how should one respond to disturbing dreams?

**1. Dreams in Islam:**
Allah Ta'ala ne Quran mein farmaya:
**"Lita'lamoo anna Allaha 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer"** (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:20) - Taake tum jaano ke Allah har cheez par Qaadir hai.
Aur Nabi (S.A.W) ne farmaya:
**"Salih dreams (true dreams) are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood."** (Sahih al-Bukhari 6983 / Sahih Bukhari Hadees 6983)
Lekin, **Shaytaani dreams** (false/disturbing dreams) bhi hoti hain. Nabi (S.A.W) ne farmaya:
**"If anyone sees a dream which he does not like, spit to the left side thrice, seek refuge from Allah from Shaytaan, and turn to the other side."** (Sahih Muslim 2262 / Sahih Muslim Hadees 2262)
---
**2. Your Dream Analysis:**
- **First Part (Student):**
- Agar aapke past mein koi ghalat amal hua ho (jaise inappropriate touch), toh **taubah** karein. Nabi (S.A.W) ne farmaya:
**"Every son of Adam sins, and the best of sinners are those who repent."** (Sunan Ibn Majah 4251)
- **Second Part (Teacher):**
- Yeh dream aapke pyaar (crush) aur past emotions ki wajah se ho sakta hai. Islam mein **ghair-mahram** (non-mehram) ke saath emotional/physical relations **haraam** hain.
- Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya:
**"Do not even come near to zina (fornication/adultery)."** (Surah Al-Isra 17:32)
---
**3. Solution (Tawbah & Protection):**
✅ **Dua for Protection:**
- **Allah Ta'ala aapko hifazat farmaye, Ameen!**
🔹 **"Innallaha ma'as-sabireen"** (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153) – Beshak Allah sabr karne walon ke saath hai.
Agar koi aur sawal ho, toh zaroor puchen. **JazakAllah Khair!**
